Easy Knitting Pattern: Half Moon Shrug
This shrug uses a top down raglan construction. Two colors of yarn and a latvian braid detail at the neck.
This easy to knit shrug was designed for chilly summer nights when you need an extra layer on your arms.
This pattern includes a video tutorial for the latvian braid.
Specs:
Gauge 6 sts per inch with size 2 needles in stst
Gauge with size 4 needles: 5 sts per inch
Sport weight. High Desert Yarn, 100% Shaniko Wool Grown and Milled in the US Sample shown in colors, Quail, and Stargazing, Sample knit in size women’s small using Aprox 900 yards.
Size needle: US Needle Size 4, 24 inch Circulars, US needle size 2, 9 inch circulars for ribbing. or size needed to get gauge.
It’s an Easy knitting project, that’s on trend, practical, and can be a stash buster!
